Race Recap

FSCRA Race #7 | September 20th, 2025

Season Finale

The past few weeks were all about rebounding from that DNF, and I can’t thank Scott Beaudoin enough—without his help, I wouldn’t have even made it to this race.

✅ First practice shake-down went smooth, last race issues seemed sorted out.

✅ Qualified P2—pretty much the theme of this season.

✅ Heat race, P2 again. Got caught napping on the start and spent too long working traffic.

For the Main Event, I had a great shot starting outside pole. Jumped out front early and tried to break away but just couldn’t find the rhythm. The car didn’t feel quite where I wanted it, but after watching the in-car… I’m thinking the driver might’ve been a little off too.

Brought it home in—you guessed it—P2. One of the most frustrating seconds I’ve ever had, because I know I left more out there. That just means more fuel for next season. Both the car and the driver have more speed to unlock.

Congrats to Tommy Laxson on a strong championship season—I like to think I made him earn it.

Big thanks to Joe Bowers, Scott & Mike Beaudoin, and Chuck LaHorgue for keeping me competitive. Couldn’t do it without them. And of course, to Trevor, Ava, and Nick for jumping in and helping in the pits this year.

And none of this happens without my sponsors—truly grateful for your support.

Back at it for race number two this weekend — repaired car, borrowed shocks, and hoping to rebound from the rough opener. Huge thanks to longtime BRW crewman Troy for making his return to South Sound
