What began as a promising race weekend ended with a crash course in disappointment. The day kicked off with a decent practice session. The car felt okay, but as always, it could use a little TLC. Made a few tweaks for qualifying, but thanks to a caution in group qualifying, nobody managed to lay down a good lap. Racing is a rollercoaster of good and bad days. Race #1 for 2026 was the latter. We started the day in practice, shaking off the rust and giving the new engine its first laps. The first few laps went well, but we soon discovered an issue that would delay the day. We had two options: not racing or Scott making a quick parts trip to Vancouver to address the problem.
